The EventTalk makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or availability of any information, services, bookings, or related content. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The EventTalk, its owners, directors, employees, partners, content creators, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, information or content consumed through The EventTalk;
  • Any events scheduled, booked, or arranged through or in reliance on The EventTalk;
  • Any knowledge, training, or educational material obtained from or through The EventTalk;
  • Any errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or misleading information in any content provided;
  • Any actions taken or decisions made based on information or services associated with The EventTalk.

The EventTalk does not assume any legal responsibility or liability for the actions, omissions, conduct, or outcomes of any third parties, vendors, speakers, sponsors, or attendees connected to events or content facilitated through this platform.

By accessing this website or engaging with any content, services, or events associated with The EventTalk, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this disclaimer in full. If you do not agree with any part of this disclaimer, you should discontinue use of this website and its associated services immediately.

2. Payment & no-refund policy

By completing a purchase, booking, or registration through The EventTalk, you agree to the following payment terms in full.

Payment authorization

All payments are processed at the time of purchase or booking. By submitting payment, you authorize The EventTalk to charge the full amount to your selected payment method. All fees are listed in USD and are inclusive of any applicable taxes where required by law.

All sales are final — no refunds

All purchases made through The EventTalk — including but not limited to event registrations, course enrollments, and one-time fees — are final and non-refundable. The EventTalk does not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Failure to attend a scheduled event or session;
  • Dissatisfaction with content, speakers, or event outcomes;
  • Technical difficulties on the user’s end;
  • Scheduling conflicts or changes in personal circumstances.

In-person event refunds — 48-hour cancellation

  • Notify The EventTalk in writing more than 48 hours before the event → full refund minus credit card processing fees
  • 48 hours or less before the event, or after it’s taken place → no refund
  • Applies to in-person events only (not memberships, virtual events, courses, etc.)
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days
  • Emails must be sent to info@theeventtalk.com

By completing your purchase, you expressly acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy. We strongly encourage you to review all event details, dates, and descriptions carefully before completing any transaction.

Event cancellations by The EventTalk

In the rare event that The EventTalk cancels a scheduled event or session, registrants will be offered either a credit toward a future event or a full refund at The EventTalk’s sole discretion. This is the only circumstance under which a refund may be considered.

3. Membership & cancellation terms

Recurring billing

Monthly and yearly membership subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis on the same date each month (or year) from the date of your initial enrollment. By enrolling in a monthly or yearly membership, you authorize The EventTalk to automatically charge your payment method each billing cycle until your membership is validly cancelled in accordance with these terms.

Cancellation — 30 days’ notice required

Members may cancel their membership at any time by providing a minimum of 30 days’ written notice prior to their next billing date. Notice must be submitted via info@theeventtalk.com.

Cancellation requests received less than 30 days before the next scheduled billing date will not prevent that billing cycle from being charged. Your membership will remain active through the end of that paid period, and no further charges will be applied thereafter.

Example for monthly cancellations

If your billing date is the 1st of the month and you submit a cancellation request on the 10th, your final charge will be on the 1st of the following month. Your membership will then remain active through that final paid month and will not renew again.

No refunds on membership fees

Membership fees already charged are non-refundable, including any partial month remaining after a cancellation takes effect. Access to membership benefits will continue until the end of the final paid billing period.

Failed payments

If a recurring payment fails, The EventTalk reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership access until payment is successfully collected. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure their payment information remains current and valid at all times.
